Power of the Web - Online Petition

Cadburys have acknowledged the force of the internet and acknowledged the British consumers requests.

The Keynsham Cadbury factory, which produces some of your favourite bars - Crunchie, Double Decker, Fry's Crème, Chomp, Fudge, Mini Eggs, Picnic, Fry's Turkish Delight, Freddos, Caramel and Curly Wurly', is UNDER THREAT OF EXTINCTION. Cadburys want to move production 1,200 miles away to Poland. Some bars will be discontinued (as Wispa was) hoping you will not realise until it's too late, whilst others will probably be produced smaller but sold to you at the same or a higher price than already.
Another concern is that Cadburys will fail your demands through bad transportation factors and the thousands of journeys, over 1,200 miles per lorry, which will need to be made to return all products to the Motherland Great Britain.

In a campaign on social networks (Facebook, Myspace etc) 20,000+ signatures were raised to ‘Bring back Wispa', a chocolate bar Cadburys chose to discontinue in 2003. Cadbury spokes person Tony Bilsborough said "With Wispa we were seeing more than 20,000 people campaigning for its return and, at that level, we simply couldn't ignore it." It originally cost 16p but will now sell at 45p. The papers recorded that "Cadbury has listened to the ‘fans' and is giving UK consumers exactly what they've asked for. Consumer loyalty to the brand deserves to be rewarded."

Cadburys acknowledged the British consumers' requests through the bringing back of a previously discontinued bar. But so far Cadburys have acknowledged your loyalty for consuming 95% of chocolate produced at the Keynsham factory by severing its 280 year British historic ties and closing the factory.

You can help Cadburys acknowledge your request and loyalty in keeping your favourite bars produced at Keynsham, Great Britain by signing the petition.

The British public can be heard and taken notice of as the threat of the Cadbury factory destined for extinction continues.
